Preparation guide – Moths
The instructions differ for pantry moths and clothes moths. Follow the ones that match your situation.

Pantry moths – before the visit
- Empty the affected kitchen cupboards.
- Throw away contaminated or suspect food.
- Check sealed packaging too.
- Clean the cupboards before the visit as instructed by the technician.
- Ideally, do not put products back in the cupboards before the end of the treatment when several visits are planned.

Clothes moths – before the visit
Important · Textiles and linen
Can be done between the 2 visitsPlace clothes, curtains, sheets and any textiles that may be affected in sealed bags.
Linen can be treated by:
- Washing at 60°C for at least 30 minutes
- Tumble dryer: 30 minutes on a high setting
- Freezer: around -20°C for 5 days, for suitable items and textiles
Treating the linen can be done between the two visits and must be finished before the second visit.

After the treatment
- Keep clean textiles in sealed bags in an uncontaminated area until the end of the treatment.
- Follow the technician's instructions on cleaning treated surfaces.
- Air the rooms as instructed after the visit.
