Pantry moths
Pantry moths lay their eggs in dry foods such as flour, rice, pasta, cereals or nuts. You may notice small moths flying in the kitchen, larvae or webbing in packets.
Clothes moths
Clothes moth larvae feed on natural fibres such as wool, silk and fur. They are often found in wardrobes, carpets and stored clothing, and cause small irregular holes.

Preparing your cupboards and linen
For pantry moths, empty and clean the affected cupboards and discard suspect food. For clothes moths, bag textiles and treat them by washing at 60°C, tumble drying or freezing when the item allows.
