Preparation guide – Cockroaches
Good preparation allows the technician to reach the main areas where cockroaches travel and hide.

Before our visit
- Keep the home free of crumbs and food residue.
- Make sure no food is left lying around, including in bins.
- Reduce sources of moisture as much as possible and repair any water leaks.
- Make the kitchen and bathroom accessible, especially the cupboards under sinks.
- If you have built-in appliances, make the back of them accessible to the technician if possible.

During our visit
Gel treatment
- Gel bait applied in strategic areas.
- The preferred method in many situations.
- Monitoring traps may also be installed.
Spray treatment
- May be used depending on the level of infestation and the layout of the premises.
- The technician will explain the precautions to follow during and after the visit.

After the treatment
- Keep the premises clean.
- Do not remove the gel or devices placed by the technician.
- Avoid cleaning treated areas directly until the technician tells you it is fine to do so.
- Follow the airing and re-entry instructions given during the visit.
